Why should I use American Physician?

American Physician prides itself on its collections processes, knowledge of the industry, and customer service. We have a very stable staff, certified coders, and excellent attention to all of our accounts… regardless of size.

Who receives the payments from the insurance carriers or patients?

All payments should go directly to you. If one is sent to us in error, that payment would be forwarded to you for deposit.

I do a lot of cosmetic work. Do you get a percentage of that as well?

No. You should keep your cosmetic and your pure cash pay patients separate from what you send to us. We will only bill you for what is in our system and collected.

What about authorizations and obtaining benefits?

Typically the practice is responsible for obtaining authorizations and benefits on their patients. We have, however, provided this service for some clients. We will work with your authorization person to help establish a process and to coach them should they need assistance.

How do you get paid?

We are typically paid a percentage of the collected dollars. In short, we don’t get paid unless you are paid.

What is your collections percentage then?
